Romy’s Rustics was established from our wedding adventure where, fuelled by our own creativity, we sourced and made all of our wedding decorations. We discovered a passion for rustic styling and have decided to share this love with you.

Hello my name is Romy. I know I wanted my wedding to be everything I ever dreamed of and that is why my husband and I organised everything ourselves. We chose our perfect venue that would enhance the relaxed homily atmosphere we were going for, we chose vendors that suited our style and that we knew we would work really well with and involved our whole family in making decorations for our big day. It truly was a big family affair and the best day or our lives.

We define rustic as a theme that is plain and simple. Rustic items will only add to the atmosphere you are trying to create. Rustic weddings are usually those that are outdoors in a venue that is surrounded by nature, where every spot is photo worthy.
Yes we offer both pick up and delivery services. Pick up would be from our storage facility in the South Eastern suburbs. Delivery is free within a 20km radius beyond that it would be a $100 flat rate.
General wear and tear of our items is to be expected. However if one of our items is returned damaged or lost customers will lose their bond (bond is 10% of the total items, paid on booking confirmation).
We pride ourselves on our creative ideas and originality of items made. Therefore if you have a vision we will do our very best to see it come to life. We will charge based on materials and time needed to make the items.
Discounts are available on an individual basis. This may be determined by the price customers have paid or the amount of items they wish to hire.
Although these items have been specifically designed for use at Weddings they are versatile and will look good at a variety of other functions such as an Engagement Party, Bar/Bar Mitzvah, Birthday Party, Baby shower and more.
All of our items are used for multiple events that is why we ask customers to make sure they are returned at the agreed upon date and time. If for any reason there is a delay in this process it is important that Romy’s Rustics is notified immediately so an alternative arrangement can be made before the late fee comes into effect.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. If you’re having an outdoor wedding we suggest you use the environment around you. There are many different hanging decorations you can make, purchase or hire that will hang on trees and look beautiful swaying in the wind. Fairy lights bring a magical vibe to the night and also look good hung on awnings, in jars or connected to balloons.

At Romy’s Rustics we believe you need to include items that will invoke the atmosphere you are trying to create such as a variety of personalised items that symbolise you and your partner on your special day. Some ideas of how we have created this in the past are: a family tree with polaroid pictures, an artwork to represent people who have passed and an aeroplane centre piece for an avid pilot.

Some couples prefer to decorate their venue with a large variety of decor whilst other couples prefer the more simplistic look. Our recommendation at Romy’s Rustics is the option that represents you as a couple. In terms of the must haves centrepieces, Mr & Mrs sign and a Wishing Well is a great start.
