The Kombi has been purpose built with the Queensland weather in mind and to cater for a myriad of events and ensure your drinks are always kept cold! The Kombi is the perfect solution to a self-catered event for weddings parties’ corporate events or product launches.
First of all, you will need a venue that the Kombi Keg can access, most large properties are fine, but if you are using your backyard just check that we can get the Kombi Keg in. The Kombi Keg needs to be on private property, as it can not be used on council property without a permit. Most hire venues are private property, however every venue has different rules, so check with the venue for their rules and regulations around the serving of alcohol and the use of the Kombi Keg. It is the responsibility of the person hiring the Kombi Keg before booking as all deposits are non refundable.
When booking the Kombi for your event, she comes with 6 taps ready to serve beer. She comes complete with an instant chill beer cooling system, food grade C02 gas (this is used to pressurise the kegs). We can supply the 19L kegs for soft drinks, or to supply your own homebrew. We supply 3 tubs for the rear of the Kombi filled to the brim with ice to help chill the extra drinks you may want to serve! When you hire the Kombi, we will deliver her to your venue and hook up and test the kegs, to ensure you and your guests will have the perfect beer flowing from the taps.
As expected she’s a full-size 1970’s Kombi with taps out the side she is the standard Kombi dimensions;

The Kombi Keg will make the beer ordering and purchasing process super easy and pain free by directing you to a brewer in your area who you can purchase the alcohol from. We have connections to local breweries and beer companies who are waiting to take your order. We do not have a liquor license and do not endeavour to obtain one, so we can’t purchase it for you, but are more than happy to help you
organise your kegs, pick them up and return them to the supplier after the event. We also have half kegs (19L) that can be used for home brew, soft drink and water. Just let us know when you book what you need and we will do our best to make it happen.
Your standard 50 litre keg holds approximately the following: 88 pints, 120 schooners, 175 middy's. We also have 19L half kegs ( 36 pints, 44 Schooners, 66 pots ) that can be used for soft drinks or home brew.
We serve any keg beer or cider you can get your hands on! We also have the ability to serve premixed cocktails also. The tubs at the back are for wine, champagne, soft-drinks, and additional water.
We love a beer enthusiast and what better way to showcase your precious drop then on the Kombi Keg? If you are going to be stocking the Kombi with home brew we will need to know at time of booking what types of kegs and the amount you are using so we know what type of connection to bring ( Tooheys, CUB or post mix with the ball lock fittings ).
We are based on the Sunshine Coast, but we absolutely love to travel- we road trip from Noosa to Logan.
Outside this area? Email us anyway and we are happy to discuss your location and if we can make it! We may even be able to get out to your event at Birdsville!
For events based in South East there is a small additional fee for hiring the Kombi Keg. Please contact us for more information.
We can pop-up anywhere, anytime. However, for bookings in a venue other than a private property, clients are responsible for providing confirmations and permission. Provided there is vehicle access and a patch of flat ground we are ready to help you party!
If you wish to make use of the 55 inch Television, you will need to give us access to power (we have a 30m cable on board to attach to a power outlet). If we haven’t collected the kegs for you we will need access to where they are stored to ensure we can put them in and plumb them up ready to serve your guests!
We have developed three popular time packages of 6, 12 and 12+ hours, but due to variations every event will be different, we would love to help develop a package that will suit your needs and event.

The Kombi does not provide refunds in the case of bad weather. If you have a wet weather plan we will work with the event host to make those arrangements, but please give us enough notice so the details can be arranged! We prefer to know the change of plan three hours beforehand. We can supply a 3x4.5m Marquee to provide some shelter if needed.

In the regrettable circumstances that a host cancels a booking, please note that booking deposits are non-refundable.
