OVERVIEW
Icecream Social creates handmade, small batch icecream, gelato and sorbet from fresh local ingredients. We run a genuine 1980s icecream van (but with better icecream) and do weddings in Melbourne, Castlemaine, Bendigo and beyond.
We work in consultaion with you to work a flavour list unique to your event. We love churning new and different icecreams, and can make you a special flavour just for your wedding. Oh, and Frankie magazine liked us too.
About
Once upon a time, Craig MacDonald got invited round to his neighbour Helen Addison-Smith's place. She made him icecream in the shape of a lamington, and BAAM, he was in love! With the idea of starting an icecream business, that is. The rest took a bit longer. Now Craig and Helen are partners in icecream and life. Craig is a sculptor and foundry man, and creates all the extraordinary vans, carts and shops that Icecream Social scoops in. Helen makes the icecream. It's a nice life.

You can get up to eight flavours. We normally carry chocolate, vanilla and strawberry. . . but the rest is up to you!
We sure do! We love sorbets and churning icecream with coconut milk and almond milk.
Yep, sure is! Our add ins sometimes have gluten, but we can work around that if you let us know.
Our landspeed record is 500 an hour. Mate, our arms were tired. Normally we can do about 120 an hour with some amusing small talk. If you'd like us to go faster, we can whack another staff member in the van and double the speed.
