A common occurrence at weddings is the decision to hold the reception at a different venue than the ceremony. There are many instances where simply leaving your guests to fend for themselves in making that trip would be problematic. There may be a number of older guests who would be familiar with the iconic church but not the new, out of the way reception venue. You may have many guests that took public transport or cabs to the first location. The secondary location may have very little or no parking.
