Founded in 2009 by Marcelle, Baked Couture Cakes is a Sydney-based studio, located in Picton, offering custom design, handcrafted cakes.
With a love for baking from an early age, the journey began with a humble cupcake stall at the local produce market, and over the years has evolved to a focus on wedding and special occasion cakes.
Marcelle believes that baking is an art form that requires experience, fine ingredients, time, and attention to detail. All cakes are baked from scratch and made to order.
She takes great pleasure and pride in designing and creating the cakes for couples, who then become families, celebrating their milestone occasions.
Over the years, Baked Couture Cakes has been recognised with multiple awards, as well as a being featured in Vogue Bride Australia.
FAQ
We can be quite busy and do book out most months. To secure your date we recommend placing your order at least 6 months prior to the date of your wedding. The most organised couples book 12 months prior to their wedding date.
We recommend that you make an initial enquiry by email, providing your wedding date, delivery location, serving size (coffee or dessert) and design ideas so that we can provide you with a quote. If you are happy to proceed, a 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure your date, with the balance payable two weeks prior to your wedding date.
Yes! We prefer to deliver your cake to ensure that it arrives at the venue in perfect condition. The cost will vary depending on the distance to the delivery location
We have a wide range of flavours to suit everyones tastebuds! These include:
Mud Flavours
Each tier is triple layered with delicious chocolate ganache or Swiss meringue buttercream. For multiple tiers, a different flavour can be selected for each tier
Yes! Take optional tasting boxes containing eight of the most popular flavours are available att a cost which inlcudes postage on a nominated date, once a month.
