Butter & Fleur is a boutique wedding cake design studio offering cakes that are beautiful, tasty and one-of-a-kind. I consider it a real privilege to be a part of my clients' wedding day and it's a responsibility that I don't take lightly. To me it's never "just a cake".

  • Extensive range of flavours. Butter & Fleur has a wide variety of tasty cake flavours to choose from, with this boutique cake studio offering both buttercream and fondant finishes. Why not book a heavenly Snickers Cake? This dreamy chocolate cake is layered with salted caramel sauce and crunchy peanut butter buttercream. Yum! Not a chocolate eater? How about the coconut cake with lemon and elderflower buttercream? Mmmm… Of course, you’re more than welcome to choose different flavours for each cake tier.
  • Beautiful cakes. Butter & Fleur makes visually-appealing, elegant cakes - and they taste absolutely divine! Whether you’re after a modern ruffle cake with lots of texture or a  sophisticated all-white cake with statement sugar flowers, Butter & Fleur will work with you to design a beautiful cake that you’re happy with.  
  • Experience & expertise. Butter & Fleur is the creation of Gemma Luongo who has worked as a food editor at many of Australia's top food magazines including Family Circle and Taste.com.au, so you can bet she knows a thing or two about what makes food both delicious and visually appealing! Every Butter & Fleur cake is baked from scratch, focusing on both style and taste.

  • Vanilla cake with raspberry jam & vanilla bean buttercream 
  • Chocolate Cake with salted caramel  & Bailey’s espresso buttercream
  • Coconut Cake with lemon & elderflower buttercream
  • Red Velvet Cake with cream cheese & vanilla bean buttercream
  • Vanilla Cake with apricot jam, salted caramel & amaretto buttercream
  • Banana Cake with chocolate ganache, salted caramel & tahini buttercream

 

Here are just a few examples of the delicious buttercream menu options:

  • Vanilla Cake with Lemon & Raspberry: Vanilla cake layered with lemon curd, raspberry compote & vanilla bean buttercream
  • Salted Caramel Apple Crumble Cake: Vanilla cake layered with apple compote, cinnamon crumble, salted caramel sauce & vanilla bean buttercream 
  • Bounty Cake: Coconut cake layered with dark chocolate ganache & vanilla bean buttercream 
  • Snickers Cake: Chocolate cake layered with salted caramel sauce & crunchy peanut butter buttercream
