Designer Cakes by Effie is a boutique wedding cake designer that services Melbourne.

Welcome to Designer Cakes by Effie.

Our goal is to design and create a cake that will be a show stopper for every couple's wedding. We offer each couple a personalised consultation (including tasting) whilst we design a cake to compliment their special day.

All of our cake are baked from scratch using only the finest ingredients. We specialise in a variety of mudcake flavours and our cakes are layered with a delicious chocolate ganache made using Belgian Callebaut chocolate.

Effie was very easy to deal with and provided us with a picture-perfect two-tiered wedding cake on our Big Day. The flavours of Chocolate Mud and Caramel Mud were very well received, and the huge sugar rose Effie created was simply beautiful!

Help! I need a flourless cake option.. Do they exist?

Has anyone had one before? Is it possible or should I just not have a cake?

there are definitely options for you for a flourless wedding cake and they are moist and delicious. Most flourless options use nuts instead of flour.
