Owner of Sweet Lady Val, Valeria Behnke, is an experienced cake maker with passion, creativity, and flair. Budapest-born Valeria uses her degree in 3D Design to whip up unique and seriously impressive wedding cakes that look and taste sublime - including rustic, semi-iced two-tier wedding cakes and simple but delicious choc mud cake creations.
A ‘passionate baker and designer of edible art’, this wedding cake artist has been creating everything from cakes and desserts to cupcakes since she was just 16 years old. Now operating under the business name Sweet Lady Val, kind-hearted Valeria creates custom wedding cakes for betrothed couples in sunny Brisbane.

Champagne High Tea Cake Tasting Experience
I love hosting Cake tastings. It is a wonderful opportinuty to get to know each other, and for me to get a fantastic sense of your likes, dislikes and what is most important to you. On the day of your tasting we try 4-5 differrent cake flavours and several filling flavours and options. You are able to design your own bespoke flavour comibantions for your wedding cake. Making each celbration not only unique in style but also taste.
We will talk about design ideas and play with cake dummies to get a real sense of the size and proportions of how your cake will actually look, all while enjoying cake, tea, coffee or cheeky glass of bubbles.
