As the daughter of "Merle" from 'Merles Home Made Cakes' a Geelong institution for 20 years, i have grown up baking!

I discovered my passion for wedding cakes at Merles Cakes then after the sale of Merles in 2013 I started Sweet Designs by Claire where i now specialise in them. I use real ingredients eggs, flour and butter etc and only of the finest quality and matched with old family recipes, to give your cake a taste that will have your guests talking for weeks to come. This combined with my love of weddings and design, allows me to create the cake you've always dreamed of.

I aim to provide you with a friendly, stress free environment, for you to choose your cake of a life time..

I recommend calling ahead to make an appointment, so i can sit down with you and design a cake to suit your theme, taste and budget. Although pop ins are also welcome.

Delivery and set up is also available to make sure your cake arrives safely to your reception..
