CW Cakes has been very easy to deal with since the day I've met them at a Bridal Expo. I booked them for my wedding this Octoer 2020. However, COVID made it a little bit difficult for me as I have to keep changing the plan. I live in Melbourne CBD and the restrictions were tight. But I was really happy as all my suppliers were very flexible. CW Cakes was very accommodating with us even with a very short turn-around time. I called them the night before my wedding day and they were still able to attend to me. They didn't ask for any additional payment at all aside from the deposit. During this trying times, CW Cakes has shown compassion to what they make and what they love-- cakes and their clients. I would definitely buy from them again and would highly recommend.

Cake tasted very good. We had the strawberry swirl white choc mud and our guests thought it was divine! I think if you can overlook the brash service (it really comes down to personality) and focus more on the actual cake quality - this is a recommended service.

What exactly does the couple do during the cake cutting?

Do we just cut the cake? or are there other traditions?

Hello, this is the time to take more amazing photos, the bride and groom stand next to each other and both take hold of the knife. You pose for more photos before you glide the knife through the cake.You take out a slice and and attempt to feed each other, some brides and grooms have fun and try to smoother it on their face. Does the wedding cake maker bring a stand for the cake or not?

This can be arranged with the bride and groom at time of consultation. It will vary from venues to stores. Factor being does the venue have their own?? that needs to be asked by the bride and groom. If its not to your taste, will they accept one from someone else??

Also the cake maker could have some for you to choose from and that can be factored into the price of your cake, plus a security deposit.

At CW cakes we have a selection of round and square to choose from. If the cake maker does not have one or one that is not to our liking you can hire one from another supplier. Hope this has been of assistance. Cheers the Team at CW Cakes Cheltenham

Once a bride/groom has booked a consultation, we can organise a taste testing of a number of cakes we offer. We would also ask them if there is anything special that they would like tasted so that we can have it on the day of booking, this will enable the bride and groom to place and pay a deposit for their special day and to walk away content.
