OVERVIEW

Hi, I’m Pete – husband, father, Griffon owner, bow tie wearer, a bit of a geek and a Marriage Celebrant.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time on microphones over the years – as a radio announcer, MCing events, running tours around Europe. Being handy on the mic and the ability to have a bit of fun led friends and family to ask me to play different roles on their wedding day. And y’know what? I absolutely loved it!

So I became an authorised Wedding Celebrant. Which is great because it gives me an excuse to constantly top up my pocket square collection.

Couples choose me because they want their ceremony to be energetic, meaningful and on point. It’s pretty special to be involved in someone’s Wedding Day and I take it seriously, making sure it's fun and full of smiles.

So, while you are here take a look at the testimonials, my instagram, the process and packages. I spend most of my time between Sydney and the Central Coast though no wedding destination is off the cards!

Choosing your Celebrant

This is one of the many big decisions you have to make and y'know what - it has to be a fit for both of us. We will have a phone call as a quick ‘getting to know you’ session and cover any questions either us have.

If I'm not the celebrant for you, I'll happily introduce you to some lovely folk who I'm sure would be perfect.

It's me? Yay!

This is where the fun starts. We need to get together in person or via video chat to go a little deeper. I’ll share a questionnaire with each of you so I can get some great content and we can talk about how you met, your life together now and in the future and of course what you want for your wedding day.

We also need to lock everything in with a 50% deposit (non-refundable). The balance can be paid 7 days before the wedding.

Completing the NOIM

We have some legal paperwork and I’ll need to see certain identification and official documents which I will walk you through.

Designing the Ceremony

I have a bunch of ceremonies that we can look through to pick and choose the bits you like and want.

Or we can build yours from scratch - its completely up to you!

Words cannot describe how amazing Pete was as our celebrant. His effortless way to engage everyone with his hilarious humour but also to highlight the love between me and my husband was beyond anything I could of dreamed of. Pete asked all the right questions pre wedding to understand our journey together. We loved him so much that we asked him to MC our wedding in addition to officiating our marriage. Peter Bray in one word, exceptional! There are so many working parts to a wedding and so many things to think of and stress about, but Peter was not one of them. In fact he took many of those stresses away for me as a neurotic bride who wants to know all the what ifs... From our first interaction my partner and I knew Peter was the celebrant and MC for us! He is kind, considerate, organised, efficient and most of all so much fun! He set out the entire process for us so we knew what we would be doing and should be doing when and where, we never had to worry. If you're looking for a celebrant look no further than Pete! We knew from the very early communication that we wanted Pete to be our guy. His process and attention to detail showed us he would be able to run our ceremony to a T. And not only did he do that he helped us customise the entire thing so the ceremony felt completely ours. He kept everyone entertained and brought his own charm and character without overpowering the meaning.
