Nicky Surnicky is a Sydney (Sutherland Shire) based Celebrant bringing a fun, relaxed and fresh approach to what a modern ceremony can be.

Working as a full-time celebrant Nicky regularly travels all over Sydney as well as to the South Coast, Southern Highlands, Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley, the ACT and parts of Regional NSW.

About

Being a Celebrant is the most rewarding job - getting to know a couple, creating something that is totally unique to them and then sharing in their big day is something that I will never take for granted. When I'm not getting my celebrant on I'm spending time with my much-loved family (husbo, daughter and Frenchie - she was our first daughter!), catching up with friends or playing weekend soccer. And before you ask, yes this is my real name - I hope you're laughing at it as much as I do!

Nicky was so accommodating for our wild ideas, helped give us suggestions and tips to help create a really personal ceremony that we, along with our guests thoroughly enjoyed! She was a fun addition to our day making the ceremony unique to us and a good laugh for everyone there.

Nicky is truly special in both her skills as a celebrant but also her vibrant and upbeat personality and her thoughtfulness in supporting us through the journey of getting married. One of my favourite parts about working with Nicky on our wedding was the pre-wedding support Nicky gave us, where she kept the idea that we are getting married central to the whole process. Planning a wedding sometimes feels like all you're doing is planning a big event, but Nicky kept bringing it back to the excitement of the upcoming marriage, how meaningful it is and what the actual ceremony will feel like and represent to my fiancé and I. I have already received many compliments about our ceremony and how personalised and special it was and it was such a highlight of the day having Nicky lead this part of our day. I highly recommend Nicky!
