I love weddings. I have been involved in weddings since 1983. My wife and I started "Central Coast Wedding Professionals" a wedding planning business on the Central Coast. I loved the people, the sense of occasion, the power and the overflowing happiness. I wanted to be the Celebrant, the person in the middle the one saying "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife". The office of Celebrant combines understanding and empathy for the couple, the desire to produce at a level of excellence, the need to carry an aura of calm at all times, and to celebrate the occasion with humour and decorum and lastly the ability to get all of the legal stuff right.

What I love about being a celebrant is that a couple put in me their trust to produce and officiate at one of the most important occasions of their lives and I am able to excel at the task. I am able to conduct the occasion in a way that produces comments like "It was just the way we wanted it." and "That was perfect." I love the power, the intimacy, the passion and the sense of occasion. It is doing something important and real in the lives of two very special people, my bride and groom.
