6 years ago I was a good celebrant. Then times changed & I became a great celebrant.
Because it was I who changed the times.
*Exclusively uniting the coolest couples in the world.*
Attention awesome couples! Do you want a ceremony with flair, fun and fabulous nuptials? Yes? Step into my office!
My friends call me "Michell e brant Celebrant", and I have performed over 350 ceremonies, loving all of them (I got the names right every time too!). I won 3rd best celebrant in the state after only doing this gig for a few years. Six years on, my ceremonies keep getting better and I learn something new with each of them.
If I had to describe what type of celebrant I am, I'd say "Classic style, Relaxed vibe". Fresh, lively ceremonies are my speciality. “No need for your guests to stifle a yawn when they could be drinking champagne,” I say.
Let's chat on the phone (I'm not scary) and you can see if I'm your cup of tea. From there, we can meet, chat and make magic happen!
* Before you send me your details please be warned:
- I just turned 40 years of age, I used to have black hair, now it's white. I'm a bit sensitive about it so ease up on the Nana jokes ok?
- I'm not a budget celebrant so I created "Express Weddings" to cater for couples who want a beautiful wedding on a shoe string.
- Once we chat, you may fall in love with me. It's natural.
;-)
If you have got this far I may as well fill you in. Top up the wine, love, have I got a story for you!
Y'see, I started "celebrating" about 6 years ago and I was one of the youngest way back then. I got a whole heap of negativity from some of the other people in my profession who said I was too young.
Well, I'm a Taurean and I do not like being told I can't do something, so I went ahead and did more weddings than those old ducks had ever thought possible. Along the way, I found that I was attracting some really cool couples. It turns out that I'm not the only one who drinks wine of an evening! I made a rule - no bridezillas! Sorry. I just cruise through wedding world at an easy pace, high fiving my peeps as a I go.
I seem to have made a bit of a name for myself recently. I have created two beasts:
Express Weddings - Affordable, stylish, beach-side weddings by appointment every week.
and
Evermore Pledge - A lifelong legal agreement between two lovers regardless of race, religion or sexual orientation.
The Evermore Pledge has been intense work that is going to bring lots of same-sex couples together and give them the same legal rights that are assumed under the Marriage Act 1961. Yay, I'm so excited.
So it basically goes like this:
You love them
They love you
You both love me
We all like to party!
And Wham Bham - vows, ring, paper. DONE!
