About
Hi! My name is Roxanne and I’m one of Central Queensland’s newest marriage celebrants. I am a loving wife and busy Mum to two young children. I’ve had a number of roles over my career and all of these have involved public speaking. With my passion for the role of the marriage celebrant, my love of the celebrations and rituals that go hand in hand with family and my professional experience, I am sure that we will be able to work together to develop a ceremony that exceeds your expectations.

Absolutely - take me there now!
Weddings which are more than 100km from Rockhampton, Qld will incur a travel fee - this is negotiable. I am currently booked for weddings in a number of locations across Central Queensland.

There is a certain amount of minimum wording required of both myself and the wedding couple - but after that - the entire ceremony can be designed to suit you!
My ceremonies are bespoke: one off ceremonies incorporating sublte personalisation to create a marriage service of significant meaning especially for you!

I am required by law to witness your signatures on a document at least one day prior to your wedding - this gives us the perfect opportunity to also hold a rehearsal.
A rehearsal allows us all to understand how the day will flow, where people will stand, what will happen when and where.
Any stress you feel on your wedding day will not be due to me.
I only book 1 wedding per day and commit to arriving 60 - 45 minutes prior to your service to ensure that everything is as it needs to be.
The priority at my weddings is the couple being married and I will do all in my power to ensure that the day goes as they have planned and dreamed.
If you have special requests of your guests such as not taking any photos, not posting to social media etc - I am happy to be your messenger!

Of course, there are legal requirements which we are all required to meet. Paperwork needs to be signed a minimum of 30 days prior to the wedding date, and real consent needs to be obtained from each of the marrying parties.
This means,
- Elopements can occur as long as the couple and myself have planned it with a minimum 30 day period
- Surprise weddings can occur as long as the surprise is only for the guests and not for one of the marrying couple.
