Ensuring your ceremony is all about you is important. I'll be with you every step of the way, from the paperwork to the "I Do", guiding you along the way.

If you're feeling overwhelmed and busy with work and life in general, you can trust that I'll be on hand to offer support, tips and advice. Your day should be filled with laughter, happiness and love. This is your day so have fun planning it.

If you'd like to share your plans and dreams for your upcoming ceremony, we can meet face to face or I offer contactless meetings via Zoom, Facebook or Whatsapp.

Why am I a Celebrant? Plain and simply because I love the whole experience of meeting a couple, hearing their story and taking the wonderful journey of planning their day with them. Working together right up until I introduce them to their family and friends as "our newly married couple". What's not to love in being involved in one of the most important days of a couple's life - the excitement, happiness and their love is something I'll never get tired of being involved in.

What a wonderful day it was, the process from start to finish was seamless, Debbie you made it easy and fun for both Matt and I. Even had a tissue to spare for me on the day. Pausing twice as I was very nervous. It was made perfect because you cared for every detail and it’s because of you it was just a splash more special for us! Deb was the most amazing celebrant we could ask for. Asked all the right questions to really find out who we were and to understand us as a couple to make the ceremony personal and all about us. She walked us through every step of the way and valued our thoughts and opinions. The night went brilliantly and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect person to marry us. Debbie was awesome, we only got in touch just over a month out from our wedding as our existing celebrant was unable to conduct the service. She handled the NOIM transition and our last minute requests very professionally and helpfully. She also nailed the first draft of the ceremony she sent for our review given that we didn't want an overly formal ceremony just after our initial introductory meeting. The ceremony was light-hearted a fun, just as we wanted, and she even managed to get a few laughs throughout the ceremony and we had a number of guests comment on how great she was!

We had a surprise wedding this weekend under the guise of a 50th . Deb helped us plan the surprise and married us in the most beautiful ceremony. She listened to what we wanted and delivered it perfectly . We wanted a low key and elegant ceremony and Deb delivered it perfectly. As our band started to play Bruno Mars "Marry You" she had 100 guests held rapt while we had the ceremony of our dreams . Full of love and laughter it was the best ! Thanks so much Deb .

We were incredibly fortunate to have Debbie officiate our special day. She’s not only a wonderful communicator but also exceptionally organised, making the entire process from start to finish a breeze. Her warm and easy-going nature instantly put us at ease, and we knew we were in the hands of a true professional and that everything (all that paperwork!) was taken care of. Deb also wrote a wonderful ceremony for us, that suited us perfectly. Despite fighting against time with some challenging weather, Deb still made our intimate ceremony so special and calm. One we will remember forever. We can't thank Deb enough for making our ceremony so memorable and stress-free and HIGHLY recommend her to other couples!

If you are married, can you still be maid of honour in a Catholic Church

Traditionally the Maid of Honour is a single person and the Matron of Honour is Married. Their duties remain the same. You may also choose to have a "Man of Honour" who undertakes the same duties. ;)

Non-religious Celebrant in a Chapel

Hi, My Fiancé and I have booked in through the Cooma Parish to use the Thredbo Chapel for our big day (and paid in advance). If we have declined using the catholic priest can we use a non-denominational Civil celebrant, or are we required to use a religious celebrant?

I have found that if there is a resident Priest or Minister assigned to the church/chapel then it is expected that they will conduct the Ceremony.

The only instance that this could not occur is if they are not authorised to conduct a Marriage Ceremony.

Who can be our witnesses if we don't know anyone in Australia?

If you are eloping or this is a very small ceremony, as long as there are 2 people over the age of 18 present to witness the Marriage (mandatory wording) and they are able to understand English.

I have had couples who have asked their photographer and a stranger or strangers. Before we commence I will advise the witnesses of their requirements . You will find they are so excited to be asked and to be a part of the Ceremony.
