OVERVIEW

I would love to meet you and work for you, to provide you with your own, perfect, personalised wedding ceremony.

My style is warm and friendly, I offer my sense of humour and my sense of occasion and I can give you the perfect ceremony, personalised just for you.

I am a qualilfied celebrant and have lots of great ideas that can make your dream wedding a reality. We can meet and plan the perfect ceremony for you and your partner. I am also delighted that any couples who are in love and wish to be legally married can now do so and I would be honoured to be the celebrant.

I don't advertise my exact pricing because I like to meet with couples first and hear about their wedding plans and the type of ceremony they would like which could be any of the following:

A low key elopement or registry style ceremony
A small family only wedding ceremony or a
Lavish wedding ceremony with readings and rituals with all family and friends present , or anything in between!

I like to hear all about the wedding plans before advising what the cost will be. I offer a top quality ceremony that is personalised for each couple to make sure their wedding day is perfect.

I am happily married and have children and grandchildren of my own. I have retired from my career in human resources to become a celebrant. I love family life, socialising, travel and my book club. Being a celebrant is something I enjoy immensely, its the perfect job to be able to meet couples who wish to commit to each other by getting married. It is also a real joy to me to help couples create the perfect ceremony and celebrate their love in front of family and friends.

Who can be our witnesses if we don't know anyone in Australia?

Hello,

Anyone over the age of 18 can be a witness to your wedding. They must be present for the ceremony and can be someone that the Celebrant has arranged and/or the photographer.

Can a person with student/travel visa gets married in Australia?

During my trip to Melbourne, my partner proposed to me and we are planning to get married in Australia. However, he is holding a student visa while I'm traveling on a tourist visa. Please advice, thanks :)

Yes you are able to marry in Australia as long as you meet the legal requirements and the waiting period timeframe. A Celebrant will be able to help you with what is required.

Do you think the goal of couples in 2018 is to have a wedding or to have a marriage?

I believe most couples deciding to have a wedding in 2018 wish to make a comittment to each other, in front of family and friends. Becuase of this comittment, they have decided to get married, and therefore arrange a wedding.

The type of wedding is a decision the couple make after the engagement, or when they have decided to marry, and does not necessarily have to be a big wedding.

It is easy to see why the focus of many couples is the wedding initially because it is a big moment in their lives. To organise a wedding can be expensive and quite stressful. However when the wedding is over the marriage begins.

So answer the question simply, I believe the goal of couples in 2018 is to be married.
