OVERVIEW

My focus is to offer a fresh and modern approach to celebrant services in Sydney and surrounds.

My name is Liz Loadsman, I am a Sydney based young marriage celebrant. I aim to make your big day as hassle free and memorable as can be!

After attending many weddings, and planning my own, I noticed it was hard to come by a celebrant who suited the glamorous, youthful and fun vibe of the weddings I was both part of, and planning.

I wanted someone to marry me, who was relatable and vibrant whilst still be a seamless extension of the guests and the wedding party!

At this point, I decided to take a leap of faith and become a celebrant myself.

So here I am, after marrying 30 couples in the last 12 months Liz Loadsman Weddings has launched and is aiming to change the perception of what a great celebrant is and can be, one wedding at a time! Get in touch and have your wedding ceremony be remembered for all the best reasons!

FAQ

Readings, Rituals and Blessings are all optional parts of a ceremony and do not have to legally form part of your ceremony. There is only about five legally required lines that are necessary within a ceremony to be binding.

The majority of ceremonies I perform run about 20 minutes long, including one reading, vows, signing of the marriage certificate and a closing blessing.

As a celebrant its my job to fulfill all of your legal paperwork requirements. Once the cermeony is performed I send all the paperwork off to births, deaths and marriages and it usually takes about 21 days for you to receive your legal certificate which you can use to change your name. The certificate you sign on the day is commemerative.

Of course! In fact, I have a standard statement that I can include letting your friends and family know that you as a couple hope that one day soon all couples in love will have the right to legally marry.

If you do not wish to personalise your vows, I can provide you with a standard option, or even versions that I have seen before for inspiration.

Liz was just AMAZING to work with! She is very professional, highly organised, very easy to talk to, provided so much advice, and allows you to make the ceremony your own. We couldn't ask for a better celebrant for our big day and we highly, highly recommend her!

Liz was truly amazing! She prepared a beautiful ceremony that was perfectly fitting to us. She was super friendly and helpful from our first meeting, she guided us through the whole planning and preparation process, the day was very organised and ran perfectly. High recommended!

Liz was amazing through the entire process, even with me being late on a few deadlines, she was very understanding. We really wanted someone who we connected with, someone a little bit younger who understood what we wanted and what we saw as important. I highly recommend Liz!

How many weddings do you book in per day?

Are celebrants usually doing one per day? or two on some days? How is this possible?! haha

Liz Loadsman Weddings

Hi there , depends on if it’s high season or not. I generally aren’t booking time per day , more like one every fortnight in high season.

Thanks, Liz

Any advice on writing my vows to my wife-to-be?

Liz Loadsman Weddings

Hi there Nathan,

my advice would be to agree on a total duration and length with your partner even perhaps how you will start them, for example “I promise” “I will”. This will allow you to both deliver a like minded set of vows rather than one persons being very different to the the others. You can look online at Wedding blogs for example for past versions as inspiration or your celebrant should be able to help with previous versions too !

Thanks , Liz

is there an extra charge to have a rehearsal?

Liz Loadsman Weddings

Hi there, not if your location is close by. If your location requires travel it's often good to do this the night before for example.
