MVS Civil Celebrant is owned by friendly and vibrant Melbourne Wedding Celebrant Michelle Van Steenis. Michelle provides a unique and affordable ceremony with a relaxed and stress free approach, making your big day memorable.

Welcome to MVS Civil Celebrant!

I am an experienced celebrant who is dedicated to getting to know you as a couple and providing you with a professional, caring and warm ceremony.

My services include:

Relaxed style whilst maintaining professionalism.
One-on-one support via phone, email or in-person.
At least two meetings in person prior to the ceremony so we are at ease with each other and feel stress-free on the day.
Guidance on creating personalised vows.
Preparation and processing of legal documents.
Rehearsal (if required) at a mutually convenient time.
Microphone and speaker provided for ceremonies if needed.

How far are you willing to travel?

I'm happy to travel 1.5 hours from my area without any additional charge. Any areas beyound that may incure a travel fee.

Do you personalise your ceremonies for each couple?

Yes. All ceremonies are personalised for each couple. I get to know you first before writting your vows and ceremony script.

Do you book multiple weddings on the same date?

No. I only ever book one wedding on each date so that I can give each couple my full, undivided attention.

What documents does a celebrant need to marry us?

Original Birth Certificate from country of Birth.
Overseas or Australian Passport if Birth Certificate is unavailable.
Photos ID e.g. Drivers Licence.
Divorce Certificate if previously married.
Death Certificate if previous spouse passed away.
