Welcome to Heart Held Ceremonies

I believe that a wedding is such a special as well as a momentous occasion that it sets the foundation for the rest of the marriage. By tailor making what the couple want for themselves in their wedding, it helps create a reality for their future lives together. With me, they will have the opportunity to design their own wedding to reflect both their personality as well as their spiritual beliefs or their passions in life. 

Many times I have witnessed that a wedding can be just a rote celebration with expected outcomes in relation to the ceremony and it just feels factory made and appears depersonalised. Not having the couple engaged thoroughly in the ceremony can make it feel empty and disempowered. Many times it reflects more about the religion than the individual couples' journey and life story. Whilst incorporating their values and spiritual direction it is vital to convey an essence of what the couple want to create in their lives as a single entity. 

At Heart Held Ceremonies, it is all about holding space for a couple to begin their new journey in a personalised way that incorporates a sense of the sacred lending itself to an Interfaith approach.

I will also create a positive space for memorials and funerals to allow a family to mourn their loved ones in a way that a person would wish to be remembered.
