Libby is has a warm, friendly ,fun personality that helps people feel at ease around her. Her ability to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease sets the mood for the ceremony and reception. Catering for small " legals only" ceremony, elopements or the great big celebration, Libby has you covered!
I have spent 35 years as a professional hairdresser and business owner. They say people tell their hairdressers everything! Building trusting relationships with people of all walks of life has been my passion and priveledge. I value that trust so much that you can rest assure your ceremony will be memorable and fun.
From behind the salon chair I have been involved in 1,000’s of weddings from planning and styling my clients hair ( all ages and backgrounds) to choosing their dresses, creating exciting wedding themes, helping write their vows for their wedding day, directing photographers (where needed), helping write speeches, and much more which has lead me to this career as a marriage celebrant.
I believe planning a wedding should be a romantic, fun and stress free time and the role I see myself in is not only to turn up and do the all important legal requirements at the ceremony but to be that someone who you can rely on, trust, to be professioal ,punctual and run things by even leading up to the wedding to take the heat off your partner.
I have not only heard what people do want in their wedding but also what they don't want which is why I believe am a great listener too!
I can be versatile as well as in the past 10 years I have trained as a professional speaker and presentor so I can assist in helping you plan the reception and even MC for you should you need.
Anything is possible to help you have a stress free, fun experience. If planning isn't your thing you can feel confident to leave it up to me, of course I will ask lots of questions to help you get what you want.
If you love the planning and just want someone to deliver a great ceremony that sets the mood for the frest of your celebrations I can deliver that for you too.
I have a state of the art (brand spanking new) PA system with your choice of microphones too! Nothing worse than a poor PA system.
I am able to travel anywhere in and out of Australia and can do so at short notice where possible!
Although I am new to the celebrant world , I have the experience and confidence to know that if you choose me as your celebrant I will listen to what you want ,only make suggestions if you ask and ultimately I will help make your special day one to remember.

I am a people person. I love making people feel at ease and safe. I love to laugh and spending time with family and friends whether it's having a wine, at a sporting game, watching a movie it is just pure joy. I also have a knack for organising parties and events and nothing seems to bother me in stressful situations.Celebrations and party's (weddings in particular) are my favourite thing which is why I decided to become a celebrant. Life is meant to be enjoyed so I am doing just that!

FAQ
This is a great question as the traditional church wedding is slowly becoming a thing of the past, hense why the right celebrant is now so important to offer advice on all matters related to the ceremony! The answer about "do you need permission" depends on the location and the amount of guests you are inviting to your wedding!
If there is a retunda available it may need to be booked with the local council so as not to disappoint. As your celebrant we are required to state the place the ceremony is held with an address and this is also writen o your marrriage certificate.
No you can have anyone who is attending your wedding on the day who are over 18 years old and can understand English. so sometimes a couple choose to have their mother or fathers be the witness to include them in the wedding.
No. There are minimum mandatory vows that each party MUST say outload for the witnesses to hear BUT you can read it word for word on a small palm card that nobody will see and I can hold if you feel that helps OR I will say the words slowly and clearly to you and you then repeat those words.
Its up to you and depending on the availablity of your wedding venue sometimes. You may not be able to get access or find the time with everyone however I can walk everyone through their roles if they can get together BUT it dosent have to be at the venue. It also can be drawn up on a map type guide so everyone knows what to do and where to go.
