About
I love assisting people to have a fantastic wedding day. It's an important day and I am here to make sure the day you want is the day you get. I thoroughly enjoy conducting simple ceremonies with no fuss and I also love using creative ideas for what gets said and what gets done to make your wedding something different. I've been a professional speaker and staged events for 20 years - I know what it takes to make it work and make sure you and your guests have a great time.

Hi, You don't have to have a "how we met" story at all. There is actually very little you have to do or say to be legally married. There are a couple of paragraphs that the celebrant has to say and a parapgraph each that you have to say, which are your legal vows. The only thing you have to do is turn up, say the words and sign the marriage certificates. This sort of ceremony is often referred to as a Legals Only or Registry Style wedding. They are quite popular.
Everything else that happens in your ceremony, words and actions, is completely up to you (as long as your celebrant is happy to include it). Of course, part of my role as a celebrant is to write the ceremony based on the information I gather from you during interviews and the ideas we come up with. Ilove that part of creating a ceremony, it's something I really enjoy. That ceremony script would include any vows, poems, readings or other words you have written or chosen.
Most of the bits we are used to in weddings come from religious and cultural traditions. We have become used to them from attending weddings and from what we see in the movies.
Rest assured, it is your day, and your ceremony should be, "Your Wedding, Your Way". That's my mantra.
