David Moutou Celebrant

It brings me great joy to be a Celebrant – of weddings, commitment ceremonies and the renewal of vows.

Over the last four years, I have worked with some beautiful couples creating ceremonies that speak of their love, their hopes for their future and their desire to celebrate with their family and friends. When you work with me, I will be shaping the ceremony around you two as unique individuals.

You may come with a clear vision, or, you may not, either way, I am keen to hear about your relationship, your experiences and what things about each other you value most. From this, I draw the images and metaphors that ensure that your ceremony speaks with your voice. I am comfortable creating ceremonies that have a traditional form or ceremonies that draw on a diverse range of inspirations. I am equally comfortable to get creative and find new ways to do things. I will take your lead. When I am not working as a Celebrant, I work in place-based community development. I am passionate about the place, connection and community.

If you’re going to the effort to choose some beautiful and unique location, I am keen to ensure that the spirit of that place is communicated through your ceremony. I am passionate about ensuring that all your guests feel welcomed and engaged.
