I've seen some awful clashing outfits and celebrants in white etc... is it rude to ask them to wear a particular colour or style? I don't know if I'm taking it way too far haha. But I want everything to look good! It is my wedding day, after all :)

Good question Keira and not taking it too far at all!
As a matter of practice I think it's good manners to ask the bride and groom if they would prefer a particular colour - if they're fairly relaxed about it then at the very least, I don't clash with the bridesmaids! I would never wear white, and only black when requested :) My wardrobe is a collection of neutrals, navy, sometimes floral if it's going to work.
