HOW MANY TIMES CAN WE MEET UP AFTER THE INITIAL MEETING

Whatever works for you I’m always happy to catch up if you feel it’s necessary. We can also do skype or face time.

DO YOU HAVE A TABLE FOR SIGNING

Yes, I have a table and chairs, beautifully covered that will look wonderful in your photos.

Will WE NEED A PERMIT IF WE CHOOSE TO GET MARRIED IN A PARK

There are so many parks and beaches where a permit is not required to hold a small wedding. Should you require rows of chairs then on most occasions a permit will be required.

WHEN AND HOW MUCH DO I PAY?

A non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required at the time of booking. This is to guarantee your date. The balance is to be paid two weeks prior to the wedding.

HOW LONG WILL THE CEREMONY GO FOR?

Generally, ceremonies go for 20-30 minutes, depending on your wishes. I will arrive with plenty of time to spare prior to the ceremony and by the time I pack up I'm generally at the venue for upto 2 hours in total.

It would be my honor to guide you through every step of your ceremony with passion, professionalism and attention to detail, as we produce and convey a Wedding Ceremony to reflect your distinctive style and personality, from the grander ceremonies to intimate elopement ceremonies whatever your desire is, I will work with you through the entire process.

About

I became a wedding celebrant because I wanted to create a nice warm and happy environment for two people in love. I am a organ recipient, that gives me a special outlook on life. I adopted my two sons who are both in their twenties, and have lived life to its fullest. I am a Hall of Fame member for one of the biggest sporting organizations in Victoria. Plus I have worked in customer service all of my life, so I understand what every couple deserves, I will go the extra yard for you.

FAQ

HOW FAR FORWARD SHOULD I BOOK A CELEBRANT?

I take bookings up to 2 years ahead, so the sooner the better, especially if your planning your wedding during the busy wedding season, October to April.

DO YOU CONDUCT MULTIPLE CEREMONIES PER DAY?

I generally don't do more than one wedding per day. I take into account time of second wedding and distance between the two venues. I would only ever take on a second wedding after consultation with you.

WHERE WILL WE MEET?

I like to catch up in a cafe for the first time it can be much more relaxed. I am happy to meet you at your place or my place if you prefer.

DO YOU DO A REHEARSAL?

A rehearsal is a great way to alleviate the stress. Give yourself up to an hour for a great rehearsal. Not everyone can organize a rehearsal so don’t stress I will show you where everyone needs to stand on the day. Sometimes it more fun when you do it off the cuff.

DO YOU SUPPLY A PA SYSTEM?

Yes, I supply wireless mics so no power required. You can get married in a garden at a park, or on the beach. i do have a loud voice so inside or smaller outdoor weddings it is generally not needed. It's your call.

We were engaged and married in isolation, meaning we were unable to meet with Mark ahead of our wedding date. Mark talked us through all of our questions in the lead-up, so even though we hadn't met in person by the time the day arrived we knew him to be warm, and articulate.

It was a pleasure having Mark as our celebrant. He always had time for us in the lead up to our wedding, kept us in the loop and ensured we got all the necessary paperwork done before the big day. He was knowledgeable and provided great advice for the ceremony. He was always warm and kind and made an effort to know us as a couple - in the end we felt like we were getting married by a friend. On the day, we knew we could trust him to be there on time and run the ceremony without any issues. He was very organised and diligent and it was one part of the wedding we never had to worry about. He was considerate of what we wanted and tailored the ceremony so that it was personal and reflected us perfectly.
