Hi! I’m Natalie, a wedding celebrant based on the sunny Gold Coast.

First things first, a heartfelt congratulations to you both! I’m really glad you’ve found me.

Amongst all of the wedding day excitement, your ceremony is where the magic really happens. Sharing your vows, reflecting on your journey and making lifelong promises to each other - it’s an incredibly special experience, and one I’d be honoured to help you create.

I believe your wedding ceremony should be a reflection (and celebration!) of you as a couple. Building a meaningful, personal and authentic ceremony experience is what I aim for. I love learning all about your love story and uncovering the little gems about your relationship that even your closest friends don’t know.

With a background in event management, I’m a talented organiser and can adapt to all scenarios. I’ve worked on 3 Commonwealth Games, 2 Olympic Games and a Rugby World Cup, creating memorable moments for millions of spectators across the globe. I’ve also had a career as a triathlete and marathon runner, which has led me to speak on multiple podcasts and interviews. I'm a little more settled now with a beautiful family, and my triathlons are more in line with swimming at the beach, helping my son learn to ride his bike, and running after a crazy toddler non-stop!

My passion for helping people create memories combined with my love for public speaking and storytelling is ultimately what led me to register as a wedding celebrant. To be honest, it doesn’t really feel like work for me - I really, truly love what I do.

What to Expect From Working With Me
I pride myself on my communication - so you can rest assured I’ll be proactive not just with you, but with your wedding vendors, too. I’m the person who reaches out to that special someone who’s sharing a reading at your ceremony. I’m the person that will make all of your guests feel comfortable while setting the tone for a fun, relaxed wedding day. I’m your celebrant.

Working with me by your side means you’ll always have my attention, and I’ll be there to support you as a couple in the lead-up to your wedding day. I’m a smiler (I just can’t help myself!) and I love being introduced to your family and friends. We’ll have fun together.

Above all, I’m here to ensure your big day is filled with heartwarming moments, a few happy tears, and most importantly - a whole lot of love.

"My (now) husband and I hired Nat from Under the Arbour as our celebrant for our chapel wedding in late 2021. I have to admit, I initially thought of the ceremony as a bit of a formality and a bit of a barrier to our fun wedding celebration. Neither of us was super keen for a flowery or gushy ceremony. We weren't into writing our own vows, and honestly didn't have much of a plan for what we were after for our ceremony. Thankfully, Nat knew. She spent time getting to know us, was very relatable and easy going, and made sure she gave us a ceremony that was right for us. She asked lots of questions to find out more about us, what was important to us, and what sort of a ceremony we wanted. I was surprised to find that it was the ceremony that Nat created that was the absolute highlight of the day for me. She put so much thought not only into her words, but how they were delivered, and her positioning in the chapel for certain photo opportunities. She attended our rehearsal dinner, and by the day of the wedding it was like she was another member of the wedding party. She did double duty and helped with a wardrobe malfunction after the ceremony. She even knew some of our guests, and stuck around at our invitation for a drink after the wedding. It was like having an old friend marry us, but we had only met a few months before. Nat is a true professional, and was a godsend with paperwork and due dates. I didn't have to worry about the official business of getting married, because Nat was on top of it at every turn. She was so easy to work with. I can't recommend Nat/Under the Arbour enough".
