Ron and Geoff, two Independent celebrants - One great service. Both have decades of celebrancy and entertainment experience between them.

Ron and Geoff being close friends and fellow magicians as well as marriage celebrants chose to join forces and the result is "Celebrants Victoria" Both Ron and Geoff have an extensive background in entertainment as well as having conducted over a thousand ceremonies. Geoff Conrau was awesome. He was a celebrant at one of my friends' wedding and he was able to fix everything up really quickly for us and get back to us really quick!

He was good and he worked with the style of our wedding. We liked him when we spoke with him and he had a joke on the day which we loved as he was not too serious. Geoff created a unique ceremony and made it different for us. He is very nice and he bought lights as our ceremony was late on a winters afternoon and we had considered that it would be dark!

Geoff Conrau officiated our wedding ceremony and didn't disappoint - he kept it entertaining and light and so much fun! Our guests were impressed, and so were we! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend or hire him again (not for another wedding obviously!)!

Where can I get a notice of intended marriage form?

Is this something that I have to find myself?

Please do NOT fill out your notice of intention with your celebrant at the first meeting. Meet with 2-3-4 of your candidates and make an informed decision after you return home and can think clearly about your choices without pressure. When you attend these meetings please leave your I.D. and your money in the car, if not at home! These first meetings are suppossedly NO-Obligation meetings, so make sure they are. When YOU are ready, then you can sit with your celebrant and fill out the necessary documentations. (I do mine computer based to avoid any hand-writing being misunderstood down the track, welcome to 2018) You may choose to lock in your celebrant at that first meeting, that is fine, but it is not "Usual" and should not be expected. What makes a good marriage celebrant?

There are no rules as to what makes a good celebrant. All are just opinions. What suits one couple may be totally different to another couple. One "suggestion" for what is is worth is visit their website, is it up-to-date, are they literate, do they have examples of their work that you can watch, do they seem organised, do their words resonate with you as a couple. Does their personaility shine through their austhetic (contemporary vs outdated) and do their reviews speak of their abilities and do themes re-occur in reviews that may suit your style and preferred way of working. You will not know if they suit you as a couple till you sit down with them and discuss in a (NO-Obligation) open manner what you are looking for and how they may, or may not be suitable.
