Congratulations!

How to choose a celebrant? So many amazing, lovely people listed. Always remember the day is about the two of you, not your celebrant. But of course you want to know what they'll be like.

You'll find me friendly, relaxed and very easy to work with
I promise real sincerity, creativity and attention to detail
Your ceremony will complement your personalities, tell your personal story with sensitivity and fulfil your wishes for your day
All my ceremonies are meaningful, touching, funny, personal, memorable, special, and they're all different, usually quite short and simple, but only if that's what you want
I give you and your ceremony as much time as you wish to make sure it is just how you want it

It's important you feel really comfortable with your celebrant and that they really understand you and what makes you tick, and what you actually want for your special day. That way you get a ceremony that's just right for you.

What my couples all tell me is I was just right for them. . . 5 stars every time in feedback. I'm very grateful for that. I believe it's because who you are really matters to me and to the kind of ceremony we create together. I'd love to help you create something really special and meaningful for YOUR day.

I'm happy to chat by text, phone, email, Facebook and meet face to face before you make any commitment. In fact I recommend it. You need to be sure for such an important day.

I've been a celebrant for about 10 years because i love helping people at a very special moment in their lives. I'm very happily married myself with two adult children. I've worked with people of all kinds all my life, for many years helping young people to be the best they can, to fulfill their personal potential, whatever that may be, and to realise that they have much more potential than they probably realised.

Well that's an interesting one.

If it's important to you and you're likely to mention it then definitely.

If it's important to you and you're likely to have any same sex couples as guests then yes again.

But usually, unless you mention it or the celebrant mentions it on their publicity material it's unlikely that either you or the celebrant will get to know each others' views.

What IS important is to feel really comfortable with your celebrant, whatever that means for you, which is why you should meet them without commitment and raise anything that's important to you. It's a very perosnal relationship, even if for a short time. If your ceremony is going to be right for YOU you need to know the celebrant will tune in to where you're at.
