FAQ

Our custom, tailored, made-to-measure suits start from $599, and shirts from $89. Grooms and Groomsmen can customise every detail of their wedding suits, from the lapel to buttons, lining and more. Choose from hundreds of fabrics made from only premium natural fibres including proudly 100% Australian Merino wool, linen, cotton, silk and more.

For a custom, tailored InStitchu wedding suits orders only, we require 12 weeks from order placement to final fittings—this gives enough time to meet each person's schedule and ensure a relaxed process for the Groom and his Groomsmen, where ever they may be located.

When it comes to choosing a suit for your wedding, there are many options and styles, from a formal tuxedo to a classic two-button navy wool suit, as well as many more playful and fun options. When trying to establish which is right for you, you should first confirm the style and formality of your wedding - this will inform the type of suit you should be looking at. For a formal wedding, you should look at a tuxedo or dinner suit. For a casual wedding, something you might host in a garden, a farm or a beach, you may choose to wear chinos with a less structured blazer in cotton or linen. Or, for weddings halfway between the two, such as a cocktail-style, a classic two-button suit in wool, often in navy or grey is perfect. Discuss with your partner what style of wedding you are planning on hosting, and then speak to one of our expert Stylists for some guidance if you need some direction.

All orders are covered by our Perfect Fit Guarantee, whereby in the unlikely event that your garment is anything but perfectly fitted we will alter or remake your garments free of charge.

My husband got his 3-piece suit from Institchu and we had the wonderful and super helpful Xander who helped him get fitted. It turned out so beautifully and we're just so happy with the quality and service that we had. Thank you!

From start to finish InStitchu provided a seamless process to order the groom and groomsmen suits. Staff were extremely professional yet also friendly and did not feel like salesmen but ensured a quality, sharp looking product. A simple process that was easily explained and transparent with timely updates regarding delivery and flexible pick up options with no further alterations required.

Thank you Kamie for your review. It was a pleasure working with you!

April 2015

My husband only wore his suit at the reception as he wore a kilt at the ceremony, however he has had so much use out of it to this day. His groomsman also had his fitting with Sasha, she was so easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

Thank you Fiona, so happy to hear! Congratulations to you both.

What are things to consider when buying your wedding suit?

InStitchu

Hi there,

Firstly copngratulations on your enagement!

Things to consider when buying a wedding suit are;

- Price

- Do you want something made to measure or off the rack?

- What month are you getting married in and how can this effect the style?

- What will the dress code be? Lounge suit, black tie, cocktail?

- How many groomsmen are you having and would you all like to be wearing the same suit?

- How much time do you have? Made to measure takes 12 weeks

I hope this helps you!

Do you have a retail store I could visit for Kilt Hire?

InStitchu

Hi there!

Thanks for your query,

We don't offer hire garments or specialise in kilts.

Good luck with your search!

Kind regards,

InStitchu.

Apart from the bucks night and suit shopping, what else can the groomsmen do to help?

InStitchu

Hi there, what a great question!
It is traditional for the groom to organise the transport for the bride and bridal party, a great way to assist would be for the groomsmen to help in the arrangement of this detail with the groom.
