My venue is only small and cocktail themed. Should I make a little table for it near the exit? I don't want it to be tacky.

At many cocktail style weddings, our cookies are taken round on platters by the wait staff to offer one to everyone. Or you could have a separate table set up with your chosen favours - with a cute little sign. If it's done properly, it wont be tacky ;) x
What are good bomboniere ideas for the male guests?
We are unsure what to do for the male guests.

Have you thought about Cookie favours? They are a great idea for both female and male - it's something that is cute, unique, memorable, and isn't going to sit in their drawer for years or go straight in the bin. Other than cookies, Perhaps buy some cigars in bulk and put a personalised sticker on the pack of each one - might make for a fun photo with all the men together ;)
