Having started Recipe in a Jar in 2016 with a unique food gift range I was getting asked if I could do small versions of my Hot drinking Cocoa for wedding gifts, this of course gave me the idea, but I didn't think my core range was 'pretty' enough for weddings, so over the next 12 months after a lot of trial and error with both jars and recipes I have finally come up with the perfect fit. The heart shaped jars look beautiful on the tables and the single serve Chai or cocoa really is delicious!

Can I mix and match flavours?

Yes, we have 3 delicious flavours to select from, Vanilla Chai Latte, Strawberry Chai Latte and Hot Chocolate.

Can I choose my ribbon Colour?

We currently have the following colours available: White, Ivory, Black, Silver and Gold. If you wanted a specific colour please get in touch and we will do our best to source your colour.

How much notice do you need?

The minimum notice period is 2 weeks, however if we have a lot of bookings we may not be able to fit you in, as our bombonieres are all hand made (with love) depending on the size of the weddings, but we generally only take 2 bookings per week. So the longer the notice the better.

Do you ship Australia wide?

Yes! No problem.

How many extra bomboniere should I get?

I am inviting 60, 50 have rsvp'd yes :)

Congratualtions on your up coming wedding,

This is a question asked by most couples and it really depends on the cost of the Bomboniere, will you, family or friends use the extras or will they simply be discarded. The general rule is 5-10% more than RSVP numbers, so in your case you are only talking 2 - 5 extras. Which is usually worth it for peace of mind.

If the Bomboniere is breakable then it is definately a good idea to have a few extras on hand.

Congratulations on your big day,

Bombonieres are definately one of those little luxury extras, whilst they are often overlooked till the last minute it is also the small touches that can make a wedding complete. Having said that, I think it usually depends on the gift. Something a little special that is trully viewed as a gift that will give them something to take home and enjoy are usually not left behind. The bomboniere itself is a lovely thankyou as guest have often gone to a lot of trouble to attend, from travel and accommodation to a brand new outfit in honour of your special day as well their gift to you. So a small token of appreciation if usually a lovely gesture.

Thats why small gifts such as a candle, succulent or other items are gaining in popularity. We produce a lovely Chai Latte to enjoy in a beautiful romantic heart shaped keepsake jar or the jars can be filled with your choice of confectionary. If there is not much left in the budget then even just putting chocolates or lollies in a beautiful keepsake jar as a DIY project an be lovely.
