All you need to know about creating a registry


General

You can start setting up your registry at anytime. Most couples have their Gift Registry completed by the time invitations are sent to their guests. We can arrange a personalised Gift Registry.

Create a cash fund in your Wishing Well! From gourmet cooking classes to an exotic honeymoon, you can create a cash fund for any gift you can imagine. Choose from our list of popular funds or create your own dream fund. When you close the Wishing Well account, we’ll send you a Prepaid Visa Card with the combined total amount from all your different funds. Alternatively, if there’s something you’d like as a wedding gift that's not currently in the Registry, please let us know and we’ll do our best to source it for you.

Orders

Your guests are purchasing items from individual retailers who have partnered with us and who are also responsible for fulfilling sales and shipping.

Absolutely! We have over 10,000 items to chose from and you can purchase any product yourself simply by clicking the BUY NOW button on the product page.

Privacy

Yes, you do, This ensures you not only enjoy the ease of creating and tracking your own gift registry, you also enjoy all the other benefits of planning your wedding using our planning tools.

Absolutely not. We respect our customers' privacy. Your details are only shared with the business you're buying from (if you or your guests choose to have the item sent directly to you). You can read our privacy policy and terms and conditions here.

Payments

For all traditional wedding gifts, the price listed is all you (and your guests) will pay in addition to shipping, which is also listed. GST is built into the final price, so you can be sure you'll only pay the listed price plus shipping. If you add a cash fund to your Wishing Well, there are two fees – one paid by the cash gift contributor and the other paid by you and your spouse. When one of your guests gives you a cash gift, they are charged 2.95% of the gift value. You will be charged a processing fee of 3.95% of the contributions. It’s a one-time fee and will be applied when the Wishing Well account is closed.

Yes, the prices in the Easy Weddings Gift Registry are the same as those charged by the partner retailer on their own website (apart from one-off ‘sales’ or discount promotions).

Delivery

Depending on the product you've ordered, delivery times will vary however generally speaking most items will be delivered within 10 working days to metropolitan areas. Should there be a delay in shipping of a particular product, our retail partners will endeavour to contact your guest and keep them informed. If you have any cash gifts, you will receive a Prepaid Visa Card approximately 2-3 weeks after you close the Wishing Well account.

Of course! We use Westpac Bank's secure payment system, so your details bypass our systems and go straight through to the bank. We also don't store any data that you don't give to us expressly.

If a guest makes a purchase within 14 days of your wedding date, we will recommend their gift be sent to you directly to ensure it is received in time.

They'll automatically receive an email receipt for your purchase once payment is cleared.

Your guests can order from outside Australia, but delivery must be to an address in Australia.

Orders

We're an online gift registry and all purchases are processed electronically. This means you and your guests are able to keep track of the items in the registry. That said, we understand some guests may be unfamiliar with the online purchasing experience. That's why we offer a dedicated consultant who can help them over the phone to complete their gift purchase. Please have your guests call us on 1800 155 122, and ensure they have your Gift Registry reference.

You can change the items in your registry at any time however when an item has been selected and paid for by your guest, the deal is sealed, so to speak, unless there's a fault with the product. However, try contacting the retailer (as soon as possible) and they may be able to accommodate you. For more information on returns, please take a look over the terms and conditions you agreed to when setting up your Registry and don't forget to check the supplier's own Terms and Conditions.

Guests will be billed by the individual store they've purchased from, so that merchant’s name will appear on their statement. Wishing Well contributions will appear as Easy Weddings Pty Ltd.

No, all purchases need to be made through the Easy Weddings website and delivered either to your guest or to you directly. This way it ensures your gift registry is kept up to date and you don’t receive 50 toasters!

Generally, yes. Once payment has been received, your guests will be sent an email with a link containing tracking details for your product.

Yes, you can email us at registry@easyweddings.com.au. Remember include your name, the retailer’s name and the order number.

Payments & Charges

Your guests can pay securely online with either Visa or Mastercard.

A 2.95% charge will be added to Wishing Well contributions on checkout.
