HOW WE MET :

We meet in 2006 via online social networking site MySpace, without connecting online we would never have crossed paths as we lived and worked on complete opposite sides of Brisbane.

THE PROPOSAL:

Christmas Eve 2010 at Mt Cootha lookout, heading to my mothers for dinner and we detoured to Mt Cootha and he got down on one knee over looking the city skyline and asked me.

THE WEDDING DRESS:

Allure bridal, french silk satin underlay slip dress, backless, with hand stitched lace overlay dress with capped sleeves and keyhole back design, mermaid shape with train and crystal beading on shoulder.

ACCESSORIES:

Crystal and diamond hair comb, cathedral length veil, diamond and crystal necklace and earrings.

THE GROOM'S ATTIRE:

Back wool suit, cream shirt and bronze gold tie and handkerchief.

THE BRIDESMAIDS:

Allure night-moves, vibrant silk floor length strapless gown with pleated waist and large jewel design beaded under bust line, bright peacock print.

THE THEME:

Vintage peacock mixed with vibrant Indian colours, teal, gold, blue, green, purple, hot pink and black.

FLOWERS:

Silk cream and off white low tear drop bouquet with silver metal leaves and crystals.

THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION DECOR:

1920´s manor house with antique furniture and decor, reception was 1930´s with gold ceiling, white Tiffany chairs and black table cloths with vibrant Indian sari fabric and feathers and jewels in peacock colour.

THE TRANSPORT :

Bride 1955 2 door Caddy and boys 1930 model a Ford.

BOMBONIERE:

Embossed birdcage shaped boxes with Easter eggs chocolate and hand painted peacock figurine to sit on top of each box

THE WEDDING CAKE:

large tower gluten free mud cake with meringue and peacock figurines with real feathers sat on top.

ENTERTAINMENT:

Photo booth with costumes.

THE HONEYMOON:

P&O Pacific Island Cruise

SPECIAL MOMENTS:

My uncle giving me away as the eldest member of my family and giving Adam my grandfathers hand made sapphire 1920´2 wedding ring as his.
