Real Wedding - Leigh  & Alan

HOW WE MET :

We meet at a tenpin bowling alley in Fairfield NSW and Alan became my bowling coach which was in early 2003, We started spending a lot of time together travelling around NSW going to different alleys just to have a bowl. In September 2004 we had an event in Orange we were attending for the State League team he had made the side for. While away something changed with us and we decided to start seeing each other. This moved very quickly and by the end of 2004 we had moved in together.

THE PROPOSAL:

At the start of 2008 we decided to by a house then one Thursday night in July 2009 before taking Alan to bowling he came into our bedroom with Buster (our dog) and a box that was shaped like a love heart and asked to marry me.

THE WEDDING DRESS:

The Dress was bought from Brides In love at Wetherill Park. Style Name: Adele ( In Ivory )

THE GROOM'S ATTIRE:

Black 3 piece suit from Classic Formal Wear, Wetherill Park.

THE BRIDESMAIDS:

Mr K Sateen & Fairytale Chiffon - Ruby from Classic Formal Wear, Wetherill Park.

THE THEME:

Red, white and latte

FLOWERS:

Bride: Red and Latte Roses, Bridesmaids: Latte Roses from Katrina at Petals & Leaves, based in Smithfield.

THE CEREMONY & RECEPTION DECOR:

Ceremony: The Dairy - Western Sydney Parklands, Bossley Park. The Celebrant: Lifes Celebrations By Samantha Lysaught. Reception: SJP Function Centre, Level 1, St Johns Park Bowling Club.

THE TRANSPORT :

3 FC Holdens & Rebuilt 1956 Austin

BOMBONIERE:

Each person was given 2 Port glasses, These also doubled as the guests place cards.

THE WEDDING CAKE:

3 Tired Chocolate Cake by Cakes By Lisa Maalouf.

THE HONEYMOON:

1 week in Burleigh Heads, Queensland
