When family makes the day: Jessica and Sam’s garden wedding

Study partners Jessica Kraljevic and Samuel Frogley met at university in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

The couple, aged 26 and 27 respectively, now live in Sydney working as radiographers. They married at their garden wedding on March 5, 2016, and were together for six years before Samuel proposed on a Canadian holiday.

The health couple created a wedding day that was true to themselves but also had a focus on making sure it was serious fun for their guests! “We had a garden wedding followed by cellar door drinks leading onto dinner,” smiles Jessica. She says the day was so hot no-one could actually sit in the seats provided at their ceremony in Gledswood Homestead in Catherine Field!

Jessica praises her mum for being the core wedding planner for the day. “My mum was the most help for our wedding, she planned most of It, decorated everything and did all of our flowers, without her help our day would not have been the same,” says Jessica.

The couple honeymooned in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

The bride’s stunning strapless lace gown with featured belt was purchased from Luv Bridal & Formal. It was matched with a beautiful veil.

The couple’s wedding party were on trend in hues of blue.

“The whole day felt like an exciting party,” says Jessica.

“Spend money on what is important to you,” offers Jessica. “We splurged on a band and photographer.”
