Amber and Trent keep family close at rustic vintage wedding

Trent Gerlach and his daughter Miaa were a package deal.

Lucky for Amber Kenefick, they were more than happy to form a family unit with the right girl. “Trent and his beautiful daughter Miaa welcomed me into their little family, and soon after we welcomed our little man Chase into the world,” explains Amber, 25, of her beau Trent, 30.

They married at their rustic vintage wedding on October 15, 2016 at Al-RU Farm, One Tree Hill, South Australia. “Trent and I had a first-look before the ceremony, meeting at the big tree where we would meet later for the ceremony,” says Amber.

Their little ones formed a big part of the day, getting up close and personal for the vows. “It was a very family-centred day with our two beautiful children standing right by our side during our ceremony,” says Amber. “I’ll admit it was hard juggling those rings with my two-year-old in my hands and our eight-year-old wrapped around my husband’s leg for our first kiss. But we wouldn’t have had it any other way.”

Studio 807 created the bride’s beautiful waves for a classic, relaxed hairstyle.

“Our wedding was all about family, and the four of us becoming one,” says Amber.

Peter Shearer Menswear decked Trent out in a classic black and white ensemble.

Distinguished Events added wow factor with large hessian bows adorning every chair.

“Amanda was the most wonderful photographer,” praises the bride.
