How We MetWe first met at a birthday party for a mutual friend but didn't 'hook up' until several weeks later when we were both sitting at home bored on a Saturday night chatting in a local yahoo chat room. We decided to go out for a couple of beers and a game of pool and that was the beginning of a slow burning love, building each time we added fuel. The ProposalWe had Riley in 07 and was pregnant with our 2nd. It was 11th Feb 08, our ultrasound check date where we had decided to find out the sex of our next bundle of love. We discovered we were having a girl (one of each YAY) and then went out to lunch at a new cafe opened on the waterfront. We hadn't been there long when Simon took my hand and asked me to be his wife...I knew something was going on when he addressed me using my full name lol....arghhhhhh. Literally one of the happiest days of my life! |
