Well we have made some progression on the wedding front in the past few months / weeks.

From almost the beginning we have had our celebrant Janet Hussey. A really lovely lady who I met at my cousins sons naming day which Janet conducted the ceremony and did a magnificient job. From all the praise Catherine gave me about Janet and the time that Janet too to speak to Nan & me on the day (even though she had to rush off to another wedding), I knew she was great for the job. So I had no qualms of booking her for our celebrant (we didnt even see anybody else, and Marty didnt mind at all). AND Congrats to her she has won the ABIA Marriage Celebrant of 2008.

We actually have our first meeting on Wed 5th November so that is exciting when we take our birth certificates and get our homework... So excited... We are suppose to hand our vows in Feb but well like most Grooms Marty is a little delayed.. But we will get there

We now have a band.... WOHOO

Paul & Angelique are great and I put them on the spot to sing good old Johnny Farnham and Jimmy Barnes songs and well as you can tell they passed the test.

Another big decision we made was our photographer... Kate Ramsey, had a good look at all her work and she had some great ideas and is also getting married at Potters so she will know where to go and everything so that will be good.

And last but not least I have THE DRESS... but not telling.. its a secret hehehe.. .We are also ordering the bridesmaids dresses on the 29th of November so that is very exciting and then I will know what colour  we are having..

Well we have a colour but thats a secret u may find out when you receive the invite or hmm perhaps not time will tell u may even have to wait till the big day but time will reveal all secrets. Have made many minor but very important little decisions but well u guessed it most is a suprise but all good ones. Meeting with a florise Debbie O''Neill on the 23rd which is very exciting and most likely will go with her as I have had many great reviews about her work so I am fairly confident and hopefully she is available to do my wedding that she will be my florist. Next on the agenda is the cake but will wait till after I have my flowers organised to really plan this, Marty doesn''t like cake so has left this in my hands much to my trainers disappointment... but u have to try before u buy but I won''t tell her that...

19/06/09 First Dress Fitting and make up trial so getting exciting

20/06/09 Last Bridesmaid tried her dress on and once again yep u guessed it gorgeous

21/06/09 All the boys got their suits wohoo we all have an outfit well just gotta get one for mum thats next weekend hopefully:)

So full steam ahead invites to go out this week, hopefully finish them tonight :) so maybe mailed tomorrow 23/06/09 :)
