Kath and Peter were introduced by their friend Debbie, after which it turned out that they''d been in the same science fiction club for years (NextGen) where Kath had once voted for him as Social Director, and she''d also spent a lot of time watching his DVDs at Debbie''s place. When they met in person at Tilleys, they spent a couple of hours trying to out-geek one another (comparing interests, the alphabets/scripts that they''d both developed based on Lord of the Rings, etc) and then Peter made her borrow a huge number of Farscape DVDs.

About a month or two later, Kath asked him out by posting a soppy catalogue record onto Libraries Australia and sending him the link. It''s all been downhill from there...
