Yum! Soup! A day like today calls for pumpkin soup I think but I've already organised burritos so maybe I'll have to make it another day. I'm not a fan of avocado but I love mashed pumpkin and potato on toast, with salt and pepper of course!

AFM - I know I'm supposed to be packing but I really couldn't be bothered. In reality most of the stuff is packed (from when we were supposed to move last year) so it's just the everyday kind of stuff that's still out. I didmake the effort and pack up 2 of DD's drawers though Methinks that is enough for now!

wickie08 - I've never had banana on toast. I eat banana sandwiches all the time, though. Makes me feel like I'm still about 8 years old

kaileyg - I ended up having chicken and sweetcorn soup and now I can't work out whether I'm still hungry or not, and whether I want to have some leftover birthday cake (it's got banana in it, that makes it practically a health food!). Good job on cleaning out the two drawers, nothing worse than having to pack away the 'every day' stuff and then every twenty minutes trying to find something that you need that's oh so carefully packed away!

was sposed to be going to a swimming lesson but the teacher is sick....so cos it's rainy and yuck, I guess we'll just veg around at home. I need to do a quick run to the post office but that's it - might have to have a hot choc while I'm out though

I am enjoying my second last day of holidays by doing housework! FUN! Well it kind of is, I don't mind doing housework. And i bought a new doona cover the other week so I've washed that and put it on the bed and it look so pwetty! FH is sure to hate it cos its 'girlie' but when he decides to wash the sheets, then he can decide what doona cover is going on the bed lol

Afternoon, wickie08! I should be doing housework, too, but after deciding to go back to sleep this morning (and managing to waste 3 hours of my day) I figured it's too late to start being productive now

I have the same argument with sheets/doona covers with FH! I keep buying girlie ones (and in fact, have spotted a new one I like). He disapproves, but I keep telling him that if he actually cares what the bed looks like, he can do something about it. So far, nothing.

I'm currently watching my stepson play on a leapfrog explorer (he got it for his birthday). For the most part he doesn't know how to play any of the games, but it's so adorable watching him try to work it out
