    Need help looking for a Melbourne garden venue

    Hi all,

    We are after a venue where we can get married and have the reception at the same place in Melbourne/Victoria. Ideally we want to have gorgeous gardens and then come inside to a more modern reception room. I love the gardens at Lindenderry winery in mormington but the reception room is really lacking any style or personality.

    Can anyone help? Any suggestions would be appreciated

    Where I got married sounds like it matches your reception description pretty well - beautiful open modern room with floor to ceiling windows and views, but maybe not so much the gardens factor. It was a winery so the views etc. were beautiful but not exactly gardens. Not sure if that helps, but www.vueonhalcyon.com.au.

    I'm having my cermony at the Dalywaters Rose Garden and Chapel in Mornington.
    But they don't do receptions there.
    I'm hiring a hall for my reception, also in Mornington.

    Hi

    I'm getting married at Poet's Lane in Sherbrooke and they have wonderful gardens there.

    All depends on your taste and budget.

    Thank you! I'll go through the list.

    We are looking for 120 sit down and at about 140 (or hopefully below!) pp.

    We'd happily go yarra, mornington, even the ocean grove area too.

    Theres some beautiful popular places in the dandenongs - Tatra, Lyrebird Falls, Nathania Springs to name a few
    The Fitzroy Gardens are beautiful and there is also a place for reception there

    Inglewood Estate (Kangaroo Ground) is amazing - http://www.inglewoodestate.com.au/

    Witchmount Estate - http://www.witchmount.com.au/

    all of which are beautiful and do receptions too. Particularly like these three.

    The briars homestead mt martha has lovely gardens and a little vineyard for pics
    and there is a restaurant on the property for receptions we where going to have our wedding there till we moved it to canberra due to family stuffs
