Yesterday was the first time we saw it in full set up, with lights on and everything, it just looked amazing, FH said yes to it straight away and not to look at anything else!

now its waiting on this church ! but im thinking of ringing them both again next week!

Hey Girlies,

I've been a lil MIA again, had a couple of family issues and it just stressed me out, so i needed to get my head around things.

Some news..

I ended up walking into another reception place to just "see" yesterday and as soon as i walked into the actually reception area from the foyer,, it just seemed... right and the other place we put a booking down on didnt seem as good. So i took FH there today, and soon as he saw it he said "now i know why you like this place so much". (we were meant to go today put a deposit on the other one.. LUCKY!) So changing venues it is!! Just one downfall.. we have to change our date too.. there already booked out on the 23rd, so we are now getting married on the 6th of April 2013.. (just got a call from the owner saying if we have our wedding after easter he can bring the price down to $70 a head rather then the $78 in march.. so april it is! its just shitting me cause i already have my save the dates.. but i was thinking maybe i could just put a sticker of the new date over the date thats on the STDs? do you think that would be okay? Just to save them and not have to re do them?

Also, FH rang my 1st preference church today, the priest said even though I had been baptised there it didnt make a difference, we are still not in his parish, and apparently was really rude to FH. Tried ringing the 2nd church about 10 times today, No Answer.. So will try again tmoro!

Wow your venue must have been meant to be! Although we're not date twins anymore... maybe I'll find a new one! Some churches can be so rude. My friend whos getting married in 2014 has had lots of churches tell her no because her FH and her do not attend the church regularly. Did the second church get back to you yet?

Of your new venue! So glad you guys have settled on a venue that you are both happy with and for saving $8 a head. You could definitely make your current STD's work, otherwise if you can't work something out maybe take advantage of Vistaprints free deals all of the time and get new one's made up for FREE again
