Here is my 'fake' engagement ring that DH proposed with. We were watching UP one night (which was our first date movie) and he put a little gold box on the table in front of me.
My engagement ring was custom made so I could have my pink sapphires (as an added bonus we paid less then half of what the ring is valued at - def worth seeing a custom jeweller)
When we bought our wedders I wanted a little bling but still subtle, my ring did come with 3 diamonds but I had the outside 2 removed and 2 pink sapphires put in to match my E-ring. DH wanted a sturdy ring and Tungston is apparently the strongest metal you can get and wont scratch or bend plus he loved the Irish dragon design.
