...dresses that hang from just under the bust ad tops that are the same baby doll style.

I wear a few things like that too but I think it accentuates it. I've been eating anything and everything I can get my hands on - especially over the last few days. I think my belly is more bloating and a little weight gain rather than baby. I'm slim to start with - definitely not skinny - but people are saying that I look pg (people who know I'm pg, not random strangers ha ha). I just tell them that I think it's fat!

Oh stormy maybe you're right though i've never been told i look UTD in them so i dunno i could get away with my wedding dress I know that much it's not the kind that is very clingy (its in my S&T first page) which is fine. It's the not drinking thing that will give me away i reckon. So I think I'll be designated driver for a while as my friends know i 'owe' my fiance because i didnt get my license until start of this year so they won't suspect in that case.

With my first bub I was around 23 weeks before I was 'showing' to people I hadn't told..Then he was born 7 weeks later

Bub #2 I was 6 - 8 weeks and MASSIVE.....a 9 pound bubba will do that they say

I had someone ask me yesterday at Christmas lunch "are you pregnant, or are you trying soon?" ... do I look pregnant? I didnt think so, But obviously I do!

I hope you smacked them in the face for that. Or at least told them what a rude question that was to ask and not that it's any of their business but no on both counts (whether it was true or not)

I get asked if I'm pregnant all the time (I'm constantly bloated from intestinal problems). I used to get angry with these people but now I actually get satisfaction from saying "No, I'm actually not well" and from their complete humiliation. The only person from whom such comments hurt from is my brother, who constantly likes to remind me that I'm fat (I'm a size 12 and over 6 foot high), and that if he had my intestinal problems, he'd kill himself. You can't help some people.

Though I'd better be as big as a house when I am pregnant... I do not want to put up with those rude comments for years only to be told I don't look pregnant when I am!

Aurin sorry to hear you have those problems. How harsh of your brother!
I would never comment on someone anything about pregnancy unless I knew the person well, knew they were pregnant or that kind of thing.. some people just amaze me.. they can be SO rude

Rude people really annoy me! I too have a bloatedness with my conditions, I hate it I'm always scared I'll get asked if im pregnant, hasn't happened yet thankfully..

Just thought I'd say.. I wasn't showing at 5 weeks.... but I found out i was pregnant on the Sunday.. and the day before(Saturday) I was so upset because I was sooooo bloated! I was a moh in my sisters wedding and my stomach was so bloated and big and made my dress so uncomfortable! Didn't know then, but the next day I was pregnant so I must have had a lot of bloating! I would have been 1 day short of 4 weeks.

I started showing at around 10 weeks, until I announced I just used the food baby excuse. I popped at 16 weeks so there was definitely no hiding it after that!

With DS I think it was about 14-15 weeks when I started showing and not just looking bloated lol
With this pregnancy #2 I was showing at 8 weeks and no way could I hide it :/

I started getting a little bump at around 11 or 12 weeks, but only noticeable with a bare belly. Started to show more at around 14 weeks (people commenting on my 'bump'). Depending on what I wore though, it wasn't that noticeable. I didn't tell work I was preg until about 25 weeks though and noone had noticed. Don't know how, because I was huge!

I started getting a little bump at about 16 weeks but you could hardly tell under clothes. It was only at about 20 weeks that others started noticing my bump.
