There's been lots of talk about trying to get heaps of people together for a meetup in Melbourne so I thought I would start this thread so that all the info is in one place. DH and I have booked flights to melbourne for a long weekend at the end of February and he has given me permission (and is encouraging me (i love my DH)) to go to a meetup while we are down there. And I believe Kailey is planning on being down there that same weekend. We arrive thursday lunchtime (23rd)and leave Sunday lunch time so that means I can really only make a meetup on either friday or saturday (the 24th and 25th February).

So anyway, post away... start planning... I'm so excited already!!

We're planning on going down on Thursday and leaving on Monday. We still have to book flights and accommodation (waiting until we find some good deals online) but it's pretty certain that we're coming

FH has agreed to go down for the weekend, we will prob fly in either Fri night or early Sat morning and stay Sat night before flying home on the Sunday.

and that's heaps of notice to get cheap flights later in the year once everything is properly confirmed and stuff.

ha ha - I just mentioned it to FH - he said he'd stay home and enjoy some peace and quiet!

I mentioned it to Fh and he said he wasn't keen having Yoshi on a plane at 6-7 weeks. :'(

Plenty of time to sort that out Sami.....they're meant to travel quite well at that age apparently........hope you can come!!!!

I told him to come down as well, but he won't get the time off work, as he is planning on having 3 weeks off around the time yoshi is born....

Fingers crossed I can convince him that Yoshi will be fine!!

Now we just need to sort out a good location, perhaps hire out a room somewhere depending on how many people. Somewhere that suits mingling, I get the feeling it could be BIG!
