Why it's better to burn the fat than starve the fatHi girls I have noticed a lot of discussion on the weight loss forum about nutrition and diet which is fantastic. 80% of our weight challenges and goals have to do with what food we put into our bodies. If you are really serious about wanting to lose weight, doing the right amount of exercise whether that be cardio or weight training is really important.
One thing to remember when it comes to getting the results you want from your training is largely dictated by your genetics. When it comes to the type of body shape you have it will also depend on whether you need to do more or less aerobic work than others. If you have a fast metabolism you may find you lose body fat by just doing aerobic activity 2 -3 times a week, where as someone with a slow metabolism may need to do double that to start seeing results.
What type of exercise works or doesn't work for you and do you have any exercise tips??? (Please post below)

I used to be a huge walker when i lived/worked in Sydney. I would walk to and from Train Station about 4km each day and play touch footy once a week and found that was enough to keep my at the size 14 i loved. But since havin kids i can seem to shed it as easily. After my first i was a size 16 then worked up to 18 which i know was stopping the ex and sitting round.
Now living in Darwin i flactuate 10kg really easily depending on the wet/dry season. I can't motivate myself to ex during the wet cause it is way to hot where as in the dry i walk or ride to and from school walk the dogs more etc.

We always make mistake by thinking that diet and not eating at all are same things. But no they are different diet is eating something in a controlled way. Eating too much can cause fat but diet helps to maintain the weight not lose it. So working out is good source for losing weight I think.

I honestly didnt start losing weight for my wedding. But i had to start few weeks before hand for health reasons. Looking at me, i was 30kg overweight, and it didnt look like it.
i started the Tony Ferguson diet. You never starve, actually, i had trouble eating cos i ate more on the diet than what i use to. In 4 weeks, i have lost 3kg (mind you, for a week a didnt stick to the diet, on strong pain medication, that i had to eat fatty foods). The diet allows you to lose weight without alot of excercise, but excercising makes you lose it faster.
If you find that you dont want to do the Tony Ferguson. All you have to do is cut out the carbs. Thats all. As long as you get everything else, and lose the carbs, then it will work.
But i also, you dont wana lose too much, otherwise there will be nothing for your man to hold on to!!!!LOL
Good Luck and Congrats on all the Brides!

sorry, but this is not true. this one of the many myths going around out there about how to lose weight. it's no wonder people get so confused. there's so much misinformation doing the rounds (not necessarily saying this in relation to your post, just speaking generally) about weight loss it's overwhelming. any trainer worth their salt will tell you that it in order of importance it goes diet, weights and cardio. any exercise such as walking and swimming is good in terms of maintaining general health but for weight loss, 30 mins of HIIT burns fat far faster than exercising at a less intense pace for an hour, regardless of body shape or BMR.

One of the reason for belly fat is the release of the stress hormone cortisol. it adds inches around our waist and makes it the hardest area to lose fat from!! i found this weight loss system when i was looking to lose my baby weight & loved it because it not only does the juice detoxifies and cleanses all the bad toxins in your body but it also supresses the stress hormone so it targets your problem area & you lose a ridiculous amount of inches around your middle! they also have nutritionally balanced meal replacement shakes and weight loss chocolates (skinnys) so cant recommend you check out their website enough!

detoxes are a load of bunkum. our livers are more than capable of ridding our body of toxins - that's what it's designed for. the best way to minimise your body's production of cortisol is to get at least 8 hours sleep a night.
