    Adelaide Brides! Wanna exchange info?

    Hi....
    Thought I'd make a post for us to exchange info about the plans for our weddings :D
    Just copy & paste the questions with your answers..Here goes.....

    Date: 22/5/2010
    Ceremony time: 2pm
    Hair: Flair4Hair http://www.flair4hair.com.au
    That's pretty much all I've decided on at this stage :D
    Not sure if I want to make my own invitations or get them made, I haven't looked into prices yet so that will probably be the decider because I need about 250 of them :$$$:
    Add anything else you want!!

    I'm an Adelaide bride as well :D Doesn't seem to be that many of us....

    DATE: 27th March 2010
    CEREMONY: 1.00pm St Andrews Walkerville
    RECEPTION: 6.30pm San Girogio La Molara Payneham
    TRANSPORT: La Limousine Black Chrysler
    FOOD: Chau Catering - 10 course banquet
    FLOWERS/DECORATIONS: House of the Bride
    CAKE: Loan's Cakes
    MAKEUP: Still deciding between Kara & Angel Dust Beauty :spin:
    HAIR: My cousin
    INVITES: Making myself
    DRESS: Zero love - planning to order it soon!

    How many people are you having at your wedding? 250 seems like a lot of invitations.
    I'm making our invitations we are having 350 people so will probably make 150 just to be safe

    Hope to hear from you Pinkprincess or any other Adelaide brides?

    Your plans sound gr8 so far!! If u don't mind me asking is the limo costing you much and how long are you using it?
    Wow 10 course banquet!! Yum!!
    I will probably only be having a pre dinner with drinks (entre) , main, dessert & cake later :)
    Typo!! I will need about 80 (?) not 250 invites , god forbid!! So far we have about 150 people in total on the list so far :flwr:
    I haven't heard of Angel dust beauty?
    so glad I have someone to swap ideas with :prty:

    Good to hear from u pinkprincess!
    Were using La limousines & having a black chrysler stretch. Were having if for 5 hours & its $1450.00.
    I couldn't believe how expensive limos were :spin: but for the chrysler that was the best price i could find....

    I was about to say 250 invites would drive me crazy!I have to make about 170 & thats enough!!
    I brought the main card for my invitations yesterday. In most shops it was $8 for 10 & i found card that is just as good for $2 for 10 at cheap chips! who would think?! So instead of costing me $136.00 it only cost $34.00 for the card :hnr: I was so exited to find this just had to share it with u!

    Angel dust beauty is different to Kara, i just can't decide which one :BH:
    Have u decided on colours for reception/flowers/invites yet?

    Those places are great for finding little nic nacs!!
    Yeah limo's aren't cheap and probably the one thing thats causing a big negative for me :$$$:
    I have pretty much decided on olive green and dusty pink :D I can't describe it but the combo looks amazing together :D My fellas not into the real girly colours so the green was his choice :+-:
    What about you have you decided on colours? What about your cake? I can't wait to go taste testing but might be a bit early for that yet...heheh unless I go now and then again later, migh b a bit cheeky tho?? :wink:

    Celebrant, priest etc: My family's greek orthodox priest
    Dress: Mine is a Maggie Sottero gown which I've bought from Jenny & Gerrys (they were REALLY good there!!)
    Shoes: TBC
    Hair: TBC
    Makeup: TBC
    Flowers: Poppies Florist on Glen Osmond Road
    I'm in the process of making the save the date cards to send out and I'll be making the formal invitations myself as well....it helps when I'm a designer hehe
    Haven't booked the cars nor photographer yet either but that's next on the list.
    The colour scheme is white/cream with the Tiffany blue :)

    Celebrant: Mark Bassett
    Stationery: A seller from Etsy
    Photographer: Richard Baxter Photography
    Co-ordinator: On Cue Events (just to coordinate the day, I want to do all the fun planning myself!!)

    That's all I can think of right now!! Big things I still need are cake, DJ, dress and flowers...

    Let me guess Pinkie.....Do you like pink, hehe so do I!? :D Have you booked any on your list yet?
    I was lucky to get Jeanette so I'm wrapped with my choice there.....You are super organised :wink:
    I couldn't wait to do something so had a trial with Jeanete for a special nite out I had...It was FANTASTIC I'm so excited for my day now! She is so accommodating and I usually don't like speaking up (hard to imagine, I know) but she made me feel so comfortable and checked everything she did for me to make sure I was happy...I totally LOVED it...noone has ever done my hair where i loved it so much.....Im only going to let her cut & colour it too now.
