Because we are saving for the wedding and a cruise we are going on next year we can't really afford a gym membership as well.... I technically don't really need to lose any weight (I would just like to ) I would more like to tone certain areas - especially my arms as that is what is most visible on the day. What is the best thing I can be doing for that at home? Any ideas or tips??

There's loads of things you can do at home/without equipment, if you can find the motivation for it, that is You can do tricep dips on benches/tables/park benches, bicep curls with cans of soup/vegetables in the cupboard, squats, crunches/situps, the list goes on! Also, I tried to describe some of these exercises and failed miserably, so if there's any in there you don't know google will probably do better than I!

Depending on your strength/fitness level already you can use body weight exercises or dumbbells....I would suggest getting yourself a cheap set from kmart or something like others suggested. Some ideas for body weight exercises..... Squats/lunges - AWESOME for toning the butt and thighs! Tricep dips - amazing for the, well, triceps! lol Pushups - The bet overall toning exercise for your whole body - one thing people make the mistake of doing with pushups though is only going part way down (like the pussy pushups you see the contestants doing on the biggest loser!). The whole idea of a pushup is to tone your chest/shoudlers/triceps/back/abs all in one. If you can't do a full pushup (as in chest to floor) on your toes, do it on your knees so you get the full range of motion. For abs - all pilates moves are excellent, and the plank (otherwise known as bridge or bridge hold).
If you're pretty strong or fit already, do these exercises with some weight added on.
Google is your best friend for a program to put all that together!

Do you like zumba?? Theres 25 minute cardio DVDs/Wii games. I like them good as they're not boring, and the kiddies have a little jiggle and I dont need to worry about their fingers getting jammed anywhere (flash back to horrible treadmill accidents ) And you can incorporate light dumbells? Maybe we could start or join a thread to help motivate each other!
