So, Ive decided instead of stalker bloggin every one else, I would start my own Show and Tell.

Firstly,The story of me and my spunky FH

We met for the first time when we were 16. bit of flirting.. but nothing serious... Met again at 17, at my besties 17th (who was dating his best mate) birthday. I was seeing another guy at the time, who was there with me.. but I couldn’t help but flirt with him!! He was so friendly, and had me in stiches of laughter!

NYE came around, I had broken up with the other guy - and was determined to go nightclubbing... (Yes, tut tut.. underage and all) and was all dolled up in a little white skirt and skimpy little top. When I got a phone call from my bestie.. telling me she was camping on the beach, and there was "The guy who was making eyes at you at my 17th wants you to come camping!" So out I went.. into the bush.... in my white skirt. No bedding, no other clothing.. and very inappropriate shoes! Any who.. had a fab night, shard a Midnight Kiss with now FH. He then offered me his swag and said he would sleep in his chair for the night. Was jumped on in the morning by his best mate, cus he wasn’t aware I was in the swag & ended up with a blood nose! Haha

FH and I have been inseparable ever since!

In 2009 FH enrolled into the Army. It was also our 21st birthdays. I was lucky enough to receive a voucher at the BEAUTIFUL Bay Village Resort & Spa Dunsborough. My then sweet boyfriend kept asking when I was going to book it, and I kept telling him that it was fully booked out, and I might have to book it for when he gets back from Kapooka ( a 3 month stint) One morning, I kicked him out to the gym in the morning, and when he got home, his bags were packed, and I said “Lets go! Were going for a night away!” to which he replied ”No, We cant! Youve ruined it! I’ll meet you at your Mum and Dads” (Mum and dad live on the way to the resort) and off he raced.

So we finally got down there and went out for a beautiful dinner. When we got back to the room, my sweet boy said to me “I need to go call my brother” um ok? When he got back he was all fidgety, and sat on the bed next to me and told me how he loved me, and no matter what happens in the army, or where in Australia he get posted to he loved me and wants to be with me forever.... and Tada!

I then burst into tear, and called my mum and Dad... then his mum and dad.. then was asked if I actually said yes.. which I hadn’t.. Oops!!!


So any way... 3 years later, we have bought a house, and a puppy, and are finally planning our Marriage for the Twenty-ninth of September 2012.


*Fold Bonbonniere boxes my lovely mummy is halping LOTS with this!!!
* Boys Suits - have FH stuff.. just waiting on his tie... boys shirts are on order, but they can go pick up the rest of their stuff when they are ready.
FH pants are in at the tailor to be taken up and will be picked up on Friday!
* General Timeline for the day Celebrant sending the ceremony draft through this week.. will go from there
* Reception Timeline Had a meeting with reception on Monday, she suggested have speeches to start the night... need to speak to our DJ (who is also our MC) to organise this - He said he susally meets with couple the week beofre the wedding..
* Limo Teddies Bought, just need to make them more "us"
* Ask Mark, Dad, Rodney, Dave, Steve, Chloey, Harry to do speeches.
* book in Chiro (27/09/2012)
* book nails (28/09/2012)
*Book in brow and lash tint for 28/9/12
* Take engagement ring in on 21st September to be re-rhodium plated, cleaned and claws tightened
* find out how much teeth whitening is.... $30 per tooth.. i figure.. you only really see 8 of my teeth.. maybe 10 to be safe... hmmm
* organise alterations for my dress, Ongoing! Will pick my dress up in 2 weeks when my veil comes in!
* Finish off my little gift bags for the girls
*Do seating chart finished!! Sent to invitation lady to make!!

Our Theme is "All About Us" it started as kinda a frangipani theme.. buuuuut it didnt really stick...
Our colours are Yellow and Green with a spash of pink here and there...

This is the end of the path, where I step on he beach. FH will (hopefully) be standing in front of the rocks. Its an old beach swimming pool. I'm thinking about using the wall as the "chairs" for our signing table..

Looking back

But we are looking at having a set up like this.....

Have started looking at invite ideas.. I know I want pocket ones.. not sure on the finer details of it all.. currently in the process of trying to book an appointment with the VERY! few stationary makers we have around town.. its hard cus I work super long hours! (leave home at 0530 get hime at 1830). I'm lucky that I can use the internet at work, or I would have no hope at planning this wedding!!

What a sweet story and a gorgeous proposal! Don't you just love how they get all fidgety and nervous even though they know we are going to say yes!!

I have said before I don’t want to post a picture of my dress.. I'm sticking to that. (for the moment)

This is a sneaky peak at it but...

I have purchased it from Annisty bridal in Mandurah W.A. the girls there were fantastic. They didn’t look "down their nose" at me and Mum like alot of other bridal shops did.. simply cus we are country bumpkins.. with no clue of the city.


I have also purchased my BM dresses from the same shop.

But they are in Daffodil yellow. soo bright and happy and sitting in my wardrobe at home.


We haven’t started on the boys wear yet...
We are both in a wedding party at the end of April (the bride and groom of that are both in our wedding party too) So we are waiting for that to be over.. as we are still spending money on our get-up for that.
But the GM will be wearing yellow ties, to match the BM, and FH will be wearing a Green tie, which will match the ribbon around my bouquet.

We will be carrying artificial Frangipani bouquets. The girls I think will have pink ones, and I will have yellow and white. With the boys button thingys to match.


This is the room I have booked to stay the night before, and to get ready in.. Well its a lodge.. Mum and dad have also booked a room, and there will be two spare rooms that Aunties will be booking into the night of the wedding (once I have cleared out)

There is a huge staircase which I'm excited to have pictures on! The whole set up is 1800 English!
