I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.
So Justin and i went to The Pavilion at Fitzroy Gardens on Saturday and we were both so happy with the venue.
We havent booked as yet, as his mum suggested we have a look at a few other places, but after we had a chat last night we have decided that we are happy and we are going to book. They do have a minumum of 70 guests which is a little more that we intended on having, but i am sure we can make up those guest numbers.
So after much research i have discovered the flowers i want are call Calla Lillies and they come in black like the picture i posted. Does anyone know anything about the Calla Lillies and how hard the black ones are to obtain?
So we have had a change of date now as Justin doesnt like the idea of having a Sunday wedding. So that ruined the plans of having the wedding on the 6th (which is our lucky number) So i suggested the 26th of October or the 16th of November. So now we are going with the 16th of November, and hopefully as it's November the chance of the weather being better is higher.
Also Justin's mum had decided to give us $10,000 towards the wedding!
I was blown away, by the generousity. We were planning on saving the whole lot ourselves (we are hoping to do it on a budget of $20,000) So for her to be offering such a large amount is amazing
